    Ashampoo

I'm thinking about buying Ashampoo Burning Studio 10. It's on sale until tomorrow evening. Up to $100 worth of Ashampoo software for $20. Does anyone know about Ashampoo software? Is it any good? Great price if it's any good! Looking for some quick input.

I've never had any burning job that freeware couldnt do. The most popular freeware is IMGBURN and CDBurnerXP but there are lots of other alternatives too. Look here.

or look in the freeware software thread on this forum.

Save the $20 for something better.

Thanks for the info. I already have ImgBurn and CDBurnerXP, Nero which I never use. I was just thinking about this one IF it was something really great. The earlier versions can be had for free. I think I'll do the suggested and save that $20.

It isn't "great" but it's a nice program. However it doesn't do anything that a free alternative doesn't do. IMHO you're paying for an interface and nothing more so save your money.

I use it sporadically but i can say that it's a good program.
It's a burning suite made to be easy to use and nite to the eye (the interface is really good for me) but has all the function that (at least for me) are necessary.
They could improve the startup time, that take quite long the first time you open it.
