Hi,
I am using this program which was made for Windows XP, 98, 2000 or NT 4.0. It works on Windows 7 and all but for some reason i can not save files. When i click save or save as it does nothing at all. Same applies to open or new but i only need to save it.
The name of the program is VS2DTI.
Any thoughts?

When you go to open the program right click instead and then left click run in Compatability Mode. The window that opens select XP32bit or Vista 32bit.
Try one mode and run something see if it works and saves. If not try the other mode and see if it will save.
This may work. Also it may never work. Some XP programs just won't work.
You could also try Windows XP virtual mode or a third party VM software. Look in the Virtualization section on the home page of this forum. This runs a virtual XP OS inside Win 7. That is the extent of my knowledge on VM Ware.
