I can't rave enough about MediaMonkey. Handles large collections with ease. You should research more about it and try out the free download. I'm lifetime Gold and it blows away itunes, MusicMatch, Yahoo and Media Player isn't even in the same solar system.

You could also do it directly in "Windows Explorer" Just click right mouse button on the top of the columns and add "bit rate" then click that tab and it will sort it for you

    Hi! Max,

You can go into the Music Library:
    >Right Click on any Column header.
    >You will see Bit Rate about half way down, check that.
    >Re-size your columns to allow the new column to show.

If...You want to move the columns to your preference, down below Bit Rate you will see More...>Click that, and a new preference box will open, and you can move the columns to where ever you like.

My pix shows after I clicked on More...And then moved bit rate to the first position.

Maxheadroom, I think you'll dig MediaMonkey, yes there is a learning curve as the program has tons of features.

Is it worth the $40 for lifetime gold?

I feel it is as all updates are covered on up to three machines for the lifetime of MM. I was very happy with MusicMatch and had lifetime membership till Yahoo purchased them and refused to honor !
