    Messenger Taskbar Icons

    Hi all,

I'm very positive with Windows 7, but have one little issue I still hope to get fixed:

For some odd reason Messenger believes that I need two buttons in the taskbar refering to the very same window. Closing one closes both. I know others have the same problem. How do I tell Messenger to only have one button the taskbar?

    Thanks in advance!

Thats a long known "bug". You have to run msn in vista compatibility mode in order to get rid of it. Another bonus of this is that it appears on the systray like it used to.

That it normal.. It just shows your account picture to say it's you logged in.. When you click on it, the messenger will open. If you want it to go back to the way it was on Vista & XP, run messenger in compatibility with Windows Vista and it will be back to normal! :)
