What is folder "confirm.aspx_files" ? An installed Program?

I was working on a laptop I maintain and noticed a new folder on the non-system drive (D:/) in the folder I had created for downloaded files to go to. It is named "confirm.aspx_files".

I assume it was created when some software was installed, but the user insists they did not intentionally install anything. I'm wondering if it can be deleted but can't find any information about it doing a web search.

Does anyone here know what it is and what program was installed?

Looks like the remnants of an web-page saved by Firefox (.ASPX is an web extension and Firefox create folders that end in _files for saved web-pages.)

Ah! That makes perfect sense. Thanks.

I will rename the folder, and if I hear no screaming, delete it!
