Looks a trial one, for me...

Do a restore point before install!

Because i have received the same "ad" after having install the free official Divx one from a software account i bought recently, and it appeared being a trial to buy within 30days.:)

Might have they change their mind?

BTW, I have confirmed, this is a fully functional full-version copy of DivX Pro Pack. A Guy

Here is what I have after a clean fresh install.

Note: the 2 plug-ins are still extra and have a trial limit.

PS: Thank's A Guy for saving me $19.99 off the "Bill"

Works for me too, looks like I have a full version of the Plus Player Ver. 8.1.2 and the Converter 8.0.1.49 now.
But the Divx Control Panel won't load anymore?! The folder is empty...

EDIT: on the Divx Website it says the package is $9.99. Maybe it was $20 earlier?!

Thanks A Guy. This free version shall now be added to my living room HTPC.

Going through the Divx website after a longtime, I was a little bit surprised when I read "the DivX Plus Converter allows you to create MKV videos with advanced features such as smooth fast forward and rewind." But how? When I drop the VIDEO_TS or any .vob file into the converter what all I see is the various divx profiles.

Has anyone used this converter to create MKV videos? If so please throw some light on the how-to.

( I do have the full fledged DivX converter with DivXPro codec and MPEG plug-in, but I have been using the DVD Fab to convert DVDs to MKVs limiting the size to 3.9GB and then running it through mkv2vob to make .mpg video (only muxing) for my PS3, keeping DTS and/or AC3 audio intact)
