    Skype

Is anyone else having trouble getting Skype to connect when using windows 7 Home Premium?
It seems when you click on it, it will either not load or state their is a problem and not connect.
I have uninstalled it, done a registry scan for errors and have reinstalled it but I am still having connection issues when I go to use it.
I never used Skype before, but I do not have these issues with Aim, Yahoo or Windows Messenger.

I use skype and talk to my friend fine but when she moves into her room the call drops. Try restarting your modem?

please fill out your pc information better, so we can help more.

Skype had a recent outage which you may have read about. I would say the first thing to look at is to ensure its the latest version which is 5.0.0.156. See if that does the trick

I have the same problem. I´m using Win 7 built 6.1.7600, and it just won´t connect. I get an error saying it can´t connect. I´ve tried the lastes version and old ones, just have the same problem. Anyone know what to do? Or I just give up on skype??!!
    Thanks
