Most spell checkers are application specific, What are you wanting spell checker for? IE, Firefox? or for writing applications? Firefox and Internet explorer both have spell checkers! Using firefox now and by default it checks my spelling.

    I use tinyspell

There are 2 versions. 1 free and 1 not. It runs in the system tray and changes from white to yellow and dings to let you know a spelling error has occurred. The web site also has dictionaries for download.

    Hope this helps.

    Shantelle.
