    Bluesoleil compatible???

    Hello to all...

Im working on Windows 7 x64 7100... and I have lot of versions of Bluesoleil... I tried with 5.XXX, it installed, the Bluetooth device (USB) worked, but the "Explore Bluetooth devices" option of Bluesoleil throws an explorer error like "Explorer.exe doesnt know how to open this thing"...

Ok.. old version..., now I tried the latest one... 6.4.237.0... but when installing it has steps..., in step of "installing lan devices" or something like this... installer throws error and it finishes... ... In compatibility with WinXP the same thing...

Anyone knows how to install Bluesoleil???

Sorry.... English isn my native language...

    Gatech.

My guess is that the problem is the 7100 version. I use the latest Bluesoleil version with Win 7 7232 x64 and it works perfectly. Same with the previous 3 or 4 versions of x64.
Maybe you should consider upgrading (or clean installing) to a newer version of windows 7.

    P.S.
I guess you know that you should uninstall the previous bluetooth driver before installing the one by bluesoleil. Let me know how it went

    100th

    I'm 7100. Running Blue Soleil 2.7.0.13
Runs fine (tho I hate the way the program works).

Didn't do anything special during the install. Just followed the steps.

My experience with IVTs Blue Soleil is generally bad. Took ages to get it working in XP, so easy install in Win7 was a surprise.

That is my 100th post. Don't know why but I'm thrilled.
Great to be a part of this excellent forum.

Confirming in Xp and Vista I was having problems installing bluesoleil, in Win7 never had a single problem, just clicked next and ... voila!

I have two notebooks with Bluetooth running W7 RC1. I required no drivers or any 3rd party software for it to work as expected. My Vista desktop machine is running Bluesoleil.

    Bye.

Hello guys, im doing pretty fine with the bluetooth "software" built in W7. Untill now i needed aways some third party app like Bluesoleil. Now it works pretty ok, i can handle all needed functions without any further software. I have a Nokia N80 and a Samsung E900 and a 2.1 Bluetooth dongle (cant remember the manufacturer now).
