    TeamViewer

Since there is not TeamViewer forum that I can find I am asking my question here since it seems to be related to Windows 7.

I can use TeamViewer to connect to a laptop from a Windows XP Pro machine and even a Ubuntu 10.04 machine, but after installing it on Windows 7, it will not connect to the laptop which has Windows XP on it. The connection always fails even though I shutdown both firewalls just in case. The error is "You are blacklisted or not whitelisted by this partner". I am at a loss as to why this is failing. Anyone know anything about this application and might be able to help get it working. Oh, I am using the free version of TeamViewer.

Yes, I am aware of that and I did that, but it still did not work. In any case I am now using TightVNC and it works like I want it to though it is slightly slower than TeamViewer.

To keep everything Teamviewer in the one place:

Does anybody know how to disable a clients mouse via Teamviewer?

I have two people (mates) that I help out from time to time and they insist on trying to pre-empt what I am doing by opening files/folders etc. and it pisses me off no end.

P.S. Works like a charm! Just downloaded a manual for it too so i will do some more learning on how to use it properly.
