    Recomended Freeware To Sync Folders


    I am trying to sync folders across different systems runnning XP pro, 7 home premium and 7 ultimate. I have tried the windows version and was unable to set it up probperly. I am concerned that this is a networking issue because my laptop only intermittently recognizes the other machines on the network.

    Karen's replicator; Karen's Power Tools

    Syncback; 2BrightSparks | SyncBackSE

    I used a paid application (Second Copy), but I have heard good things about Karen's replicator.

    There might be another Microsoft app also, but I haven't kept up with them much.

    live mesh is more fully featured than live sync.

Skydrive - how to sync folders

I have Skydrive for Windows installed. Copied a folder to the Skydrive location, shows up as a Skydrive sub-folder. All the files in the folder were immediately uploaded to Skydrive, but new files are not being uploaded. Not sure what I'm doing wrong... Steve
