Windows 7 extended display and Adobe 9

Hi all, I have a New computer and a new install of Adobe 9 elements. Install went fine but later on, after clicking PSE Organizer radio button the program went directly to the taskbar and would not expand from there. After much cussin' I finally figured it was expanding on my second monitor which wasn't on at the time. I disabled extended display and solved the problem. So far, this is the only program that acts this way, including the "Edit" half of the Adobe Elements 9. Question is: Can I fix this without disabling extended display? Thanks, dsstem

Hi, dsstem! Welcome to the Seven Forums! :)

If you disconnect one of your monitors, and your computer is not set up to Auto-select the display at start-up, the only way you can really resolve this issue is to change the extended monitor selection when you have one of your monitors disconnected.

Happens to me all of the time with my laptop when I take it to client meetings without my other monitor in tow. (I've got to remember to leave Auto select enabled )
