    You just need to look here at the comparison table between "Free" and "Pro";

Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems

Thanks for the comments. I have downloaded Comodo and will likely try it now on 32-bit.

I'm also always put off by and suspicious of English language technical documentation that was clearly not proofread by a native English speaker. If they are that indifferent/careless, what else is in store for a potential user? Do they just write this stuff in their native language and then toss it into Google's translator and expect accuracy?
Indeed, I know what you mean, but as long as the software functions correctly it doesn't bother me much any more. I have used a lot of stuff in various languages. Years ago, one great source of amusement for many technicians were various handbooks "translated" from Chinese and other languages, these were often so bad that they were completely useless, although often amusing.

I have just emailed Revo Support and asked them to confirm whether the Free version completely removes 64-bit programs effectively.

I will post back when I receive their response. :)

    Here is my reply:

    Hello,
thank you for using Revo Uninstaller! We appreciate it!

As you may know there is no problem to run 32bit application on 64bit Windows, because of the Windows-32-on-Windows-64 (WOW64) compatibility layer. Revo Uninstaller does not list the native 64bit applications installed, but only 32bit, therefore you can't use Revo Uninstaller for all applications on 64bit OSs. So, Revo Uninstaller does not fully support 64bit operating systems but you still can use it on 64bit.

Revo Uninstaller Pro does fully support 64-bit operating systems and is fully functional 30 days! You can use it 30 days for free - this is one of the best ways to know how it works and to understand its features!

If you have any further questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us!

    Thank you!

Sadly, no indication if/whether there is any forthcoming plan to rectify the issue...

I used to be a rabid Revo supporter. Since it doesn't see 64-bit I had to find an alternative.
Advanced Uninstaller is the answer. In many ways it is better since you can monitor installations, too.

You are right about the freeware version of Revo Ininstaller which I have been using for years on my Vista 32 bit computer. When I got my Win 7 x6x computer the first thing I did was to install Revo Uninstaller Pro x64 and start taking out several GB's of bloatware including many pieces of unwanted x64 software and it worked great!

I'm using Revo Pro and it has a "Trace Install" feature which should be the same as "monitoring installations".

revo's backup has just saved my beef - & to be noted, where erunt failed. contrary to claims, erunt appears not to work on 7/64 - that's 3 recovery attempts later, none worked.

as for revo - i've yet to find a way to force it to do a full registry backup by pressing a button, or better yet, by a command line? yes, i can get to the the backup manager, but can't find a way to initiate one.

am i missing something, or are our bulgarians missing something?

it does do backups before unistalls, or it seems you can schedule one, but i need one that's done on my whim.

zdoe- Yes, the Revo Uninstaller x64 works perfectly with win 7 x64 and will do a daily full backup of the Registry and restore it on demand. If you want to do more frequent Registry backups you will need to find other software which will enable you to do on demand backups of the Registry. Evidently the developers of Revo Uninstaller x64 must have thought that 1 full Registry backup per day was sufficient.
