    Windows 7 And BartPE

I am trying to use BartPE for the first time and I was wondering how to use it with Windows 7 if thats at all possible?

If this is not possible is there a program that would work in a similar way as BartPE?

Thank you in advance to any help

Are you saying that an already-built BartPE disk will not with a HDD with Win 7 on it? Any specifics? We use a full-drive encryption application and often our only option for recovering data from a non-booting HDD is to use Bart with the plugin from the encryption app provider to unlock the encryption and get data.

I have not built a BARTPE disk yet since whenever i try to find the source files to make one it cant locate the i386 files it automatically is looking for. The main thing im looking for is a way to make a replication of a system so i can move a file inside it that for some reason wont let me copy it in any way i know of so im tryin to replicate the system so i can move it over without problems.

Vick, you need to use a Windows XP CD to build it, apparently Windows 7 won't work as the core.
