Gadget

I was wondering wether there is an easy to use, good looking gadget out there for the following use:

I need some kind of calendar for numerous things (reminder, alarm, assignment, meeting, ...)
Ideally I would have the option to put this on weekly remindeer, monthly reminder or every year. The day itself the gadget should tell me what my appointments are. If I can also use some kind of colours or something to visualize my appointments better, that would be super.

At the moment I'm using a usefull calendar (can't seem to find the link though) which has colour codes etc, but nothing I can tag to make some reminders weekly. And manually adding them every week is what I want to avoid as it is so tedious..

Does anyone know a gadget that does this?
