    Installing Windows Essentials

    Hi,
I have uninstalled windows essentials from my windows 7. I tried re-installing it but it showed that windows essentials is already installed. I searched everywhere on my pc but it does not appear nor its components.
I tried to install it through windows updats ( as optional) the same happened. It says that installation is done but nothing appears. When \i tried to choose components to install from windows essentials, all components appear as installed.

What can I do in this case? I tried everything but none worked.

Download and clean your HD with ccleaner. This will remove all remanants of the prior install. Untick all registry cleaning.

See if you can install in safe mode. If not just install

If this does not work, try to go back with System Restore to before the first install.

System Restore to a point before you had the problem.

Every where .....? Are you sure ...how about "program files" .....
Next time try Revo Uninstall .....this will scrub ...most ..if not all left over ..

When you say that you've searched everywhere on your pc, have you actually done an Advanced Search of you entire system, meaning that you've checked the "Include non-indexed, hidden and system files" box and set the search options to entire computer? This Advanced Search will definitely take a while, probably about 20 minutes or so (depending on how much you've got on your system) but it's a good, deep search and might reveal some fragments that other searches have not found.
