    Bootracer -- have you tried/use this ??


    I have been using this for a year. pretty cool. the old version allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the program.

    i use boot racer had a start up like 38 seconds

    I wouldn't use it on an SSD like I have and besides, when you've been building machines for a while, you can tell when boot takes too long and were to make corrections.

    Windows also has a sort of Bootvis command that defrags boot files when system is idle. You can force the task.

    Command prompt
    Rundll32.exe advapi32.dll, ProcessIdleTasks
