Windows 7 can't install Microsoft .Netframework 3.5 SP1

I tried a lot of things for this. My common errors are to "Turn 3.5 SP1 in control panel" which it already is. And if I get a chance to use the recommended settings on the setup, I get an error and everything reinstalls. Please help! I have uninstalled my computer 3 times and I don't want to reinstall anymore.

Microsoft Dot Net Framework 3.5 SP 1 is for windows Vista and below. Windows 7 comes with it already installed. Its listed under turn windows features on and off. Thats where you would un-install/install it from.
