    I would like to try our designing a website. Can anyone recommend a decent free package?

    I used to dabble in websites a long time ago and used arachnophilia from arachnoid.com. It's an HTML editor rather than a wysiwyg, which I preferred because it gave me much better control of the outcome.

    Thanks for the info but neither of those are what I'm looking for. I dabbled with basic html stuff in the past but I would like to take it a step further and dreamweaver costs money

    Anything else?

    If you want something free,but really simple,you can try Kompozer from Mozilla.

    What exactly do you want it to do? I design quite a lot of websites and just use Notepad++ works great for me!

    I guess that he don't like to write tones of codes in Notepad ++. That he just want something easyer. :)

    Exactly. Plus I don't do this for a living so I don't need a high end package, just something to mess around with...
