How to find and kill a program

    Hey guys,

So, After my search to find a program is complete: Looking for Software (Sound Volume) (Thanks Ozzy441).

I am looking at how to find what it making something happen on my computer. Specifically, When I click mute on my keyboard, 2 programs display that information on an on-screen overlay.

Here is a link of my problem: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...nk/Problem.jpg

I would like to find out what is causing the volume bar (The one that is green) to come up. Like I said in my other post, One day it just appeared out of the blue.

Also, let me say thank you for answering my last post. It was posted in 5 places and this was the only one to deliver!

    Thanks,
    Nathan

You can trace any message on the screen like this: Error Message - Where Does it Come From At least it will tell you which process caused it.
