Therapee

I hope this is the right forum for questions about Therapee, I got it wrong the last time when I tried for info on External Hard Drives, I don't want to make the same mistake again.

I have just downloaded Therapee RAW converter. I am using Windows7 and have a need to download a lot of RAW files taken on an Olympus E30 and convert them to TIFF's.

Having downloaded Therapee, I can find no way of opening any of my folders. There doesn't appear to be a "File" toolbar which allows me to say Open anything.

Can anyone throw any light on this please?

I know absolutely nothing about it, but am investigating.

What version did you download? version 2.4.1 is the latest stable version.

Update: I just installed 2.4.1. Looks to me like you select folders from the folder icon along the very top, or maybe through the drive letters at the lower left area of your screen.

Also, I'd look at the preferences tab at the lower right.

I have no idea how to operate it, so I am uninstalling.

I have asked similar question in a previous post however, my brand new computer crashed and I lost everything so am having to start all over again. Whilst I had done a back up, I never exported Outlook so the results were rather disasterous. I have of course now done what I should have done in the first place!

Thanks for that. I have found the way in since my last post but am now trying to find out how you save the results to another folder.

I have quite a few RAW files that were loaded in Windows XP 32 bit Pshop CS4. Now when I try to open them in Windows7 64 bit P'shop CS5, they won't open. Have you any knoledge of how to convert these 32bit CS4 pictures to 64bit and CS5 please?
