hi, i downloaded Puran Free Defrag to maintain my computer, the defrag process has no problems, the optimizing process also has no problems. but, when it goes to the filling gaps process, it crashes halfway... anyone has a similar problem and solution to it?
This is not a pressing concern, but I am receiving the following error from time to time running Puran Defrag: Faulting application name: PuranDefragGUI.exe, version: 7.3.0.0, time stamp: 0x4ef83885
Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6.1.7601.17725, time stamp: 0x4ec4aa8e
Exception code:...
I normally set the Disk Defragmenter Task Schedule to DISABLED,
and leave the Windows Disk Defragmenter defragsvc set to DISABLED.
Will Puran Free be able to safely and fully operate under these conditions,
or should I change defragsvc to MANUAL.
I occasionally create a Macrium FULL image...
Heard good things about Puran Defrag which has a boot time defrag option all without the bloat of DK or PD.
Free version released a few days ago.
