    Yes.

    Keep the newest one.

I think the newer versions of Java automatically remove earlier versions, but that's a new development.

In fact, it is recommended that you keep only the newest.

Remove via control panel/programs and features.

Not sure why you have 2 version 24s. I have a 64 bit system and I have only version 24, NOT version 24 64 bit.

Worst case scenario: uninstall them all and redownload.

You don't "need" a x64 version Java - unless you use a 64 bit browser a lot that you need java for, but you can have it along with the regular 32 bit one. Perfectly fine to have both 32 bit and 64 bit one installed along side each other.

Download and run Secunia Personal Security Inspector (PSI)

It hunts all these down and displays what to remove.

well, my score is 100% which is not surprising because I use that software often.

I can only find 1 java related program using Secunia and it doesn't even mention 20 and 22

    still can't uninstall them

I was able to remove them by deleting all Java programs from my computer and then searching for any files related to Java and deleting them. I then used Revo Uninstaller to totally remove the entries. Now they are gone

Last week I uninstall ALL Java programs and have not had any program not function properly so I am now Java free except for the ones I drink in the morning.
