Windows 7 - Software fails on upgrade but works on clean install.

| | Software fails on upgrade but works on clean install. I upgraded my Vista Home Premium x64 machine to Windows 7 Home Premium x64. The upgrade was flawless; however, I've tried to install and run Scan2PDF, Scan to PDF and Tucows Form Pilot. None of them will run on the upgraded machine although they're Windows 7 compatible. But, when I install them on another HP with Windows 7 Home Premium x64 from the factory, they run as advertised with no problems. There is obviously something wrong with the upgraded machine, but I'm stumped as to what. Anyone else have this problem? |
