Windows 7: Can I safely install Net 1.1 2.0 and 3.5 for game editor?

Home 7 64 on Alienware and Asus. W8 on Lenovo.

Unfortunately I can't get the game that would use the editor to work properly in Windows 7 so it's no longer an issue, but I'll remember your info.
