What is a good desktop recording tool?

I am looking for a good recording tool that works on windows 7. I cant get anything to work well. Camstudio works, but I cant get it to use my sound. I want something that I can talk with as I record.
    thanks.

Are you looking for something to record your screen? Not sure if it records sound, but ScreenToaster - Free online screen recorder: create screencasts, tutorials and reviews in a few clicks

Edit: Appears they do record sound: from their FAQ

How do I record audio ?

    1. To record your voice, select the proper audio device in the list before starting recording.
    2. To record additional music and sounds, enable "stereo mix" (also called "what you hear" on your computer).

Let me guess, you're using Firefox? Try opening it in IE, and see if it installs Java for you. If it still doesn't work, try installing Java manually. You also need Flash, but I'm assuming that is already installed.

    Adobe Flash Player

    Sun Java

Once all that is done, it might work in Firefox, I don't know. I've only ever used it in Internet Explorer.
