MS Money Plus incompatible with Beta versions of OS

MS Money hung my system. The dialoge box was as follows:
======================
msmoney.exe - No Disk
There is no disk in the drive. Please inset a disk into drive
\Device\Harddisk2\DR2.
======================

None of the three ioptions would dislodge the dialogue box.
Task Manager could not End the Process.
I had to re-boot . I tried several times with the identical result. On my old desk top in the MS Money Plus folder, I found a link to the following HTML warning:
==================
Money Not Compatible with Beta Versions of Operating Systems or Beta Versions of Internet Explorer
Please upgrade to the released version of your operating system or Internet Explorer before using Money.
===================

If anybody knows where I fumbled, or a work-around, I would appreciate hearing about it. Otherwise, I guess I will have to wait for October.

I have two internal hard disks and an external one.

I doubt MS will work any more on Money since they announced that it will be withdrawn from today in fact.

See announcement here: Microsoft Money Home.

MS Money is kaput?

I saw that notice, but thought with 19 more months (15 from fromal release) of support, I assumed it would be made available. Fortunately, I was about 90% converted back to Quick Books, when I installed Win 7.

Thanks for alerting my less than direct attention to reality.
