I want to uninstall my version of Adobe because it's wreaking havoc on youtube and on my in-browser .pdf files (they won't open or are recognized as corrupted), and to install an older version. When I go to my programs settings and try to uninstall, Windows tells me that I don't have administrative privileges and that I must contact administrator to make changes.
I AM THE ADMINISTRATOR.
I edited all relevant security passes on Adobe Reader, and my computer in general. It's still not recognizing me.
EDIT: I just went to install an update for my quicktime for Firefox, and it told me I couldn't install, either! THIS IS INFURIATING!
Is this a fault of Windows 7, or is there something I should be doing that I'm not?
