    PeerBlock

Incase you don't what PeerBlock is, it is a program that is used to block IP Addresses from accessing your computer. I recently read a thread about it. Some people were saying it's stupid because the people and just download PeerBlock themselves and see if they are blocked and if they are, change their IP Address.

I mainly use it because it blocks against IP Addresses that are known to have spyware on them. So what are your thoughts? I think I have also noticed some instability from my wireless adapter. Weather it's from PeerBlock or the application that my wireless adapter uses is still unclear. Anyone have any problems like this?

If you are using it for P2P "protection" it's a complete waste of time, you will only block legitimate users, while anti-piracy groups certainly have the resources to change their IP at will. If you have access to the list, they certainly do too. As for blocking malware sites, well, a little common sense goes a long way, far better than any ip blocker can go.
