Windows 7 - Desktops and other..

So I've been looking for a Linux like virtual desktop software and it seems the people with the most knowledge of this are all on this forum, go figure.

I read through the old posts about some the programs and it seems the best one is Desktops?

I really don't care for the cube thing, would much prefer a more Linux like program, but I don't know of any that don't seem to have Issues with windows and the programs or features of windows 7.

To the people that have used Desktops for a while how has it been working and what are the Issues?

I'm still looking for a good Linux type program though. That program called Crystal desktops, the site is on allot of blacklists, I'm not going near that.

I'd really like to keep Aero working also. Ahh, I put the wrong program name on the header. Should have said Deskspace

Thank you. I've been looking at those.

Guess I'm gonna have to fire up Acronis Try&Decide since I haven't got any feed back from people that use these programs. I know they are out there, just have not seen this post.
