Two Videos Side By Side in One Video - What Software Can Do This?

    Hello Windows 7 Community!
While my Ubuntu is broken, I am using my security blanket Windows, but need some help with two videos. I have two videos, one with a view in front of the object and one from a view from behind the object. Both of these cameras recorded the object falling over, and I would like to see the two videos, the front view on the top, and the the back view below it, like a split screen together. I have Googled for a hour, and am unsure of what software can do this. I cannot use paid software, since I this is a small project. Can anyone help?

No idea how well it works but AviSynth should be able to do it. Unfortunately the main site is down at the moment but you can find download links here,

and can find out just about anything about it here,

Stormy, I will try that. No GUI is not too scary, although a GUI is a prefrence:)
Jerry, although I do use VLC and wanted to know that, it was not exactly what I was looking for. Better put, I would like to import two videos, and export them as one, with one video on the top 50%, and the other on the bottom 50%. Good video player though.....
