    directory xla in Excel 2007

When I was using XP Pro and Excel 2003 then later 2007 I was able to insert the directory xla add in that allowed me to click the add in option it would let me choose a folder or directory to copy into Excel. Now that I am using Windows 7 Pro and Excel 2007 I have not been able to find a way to insert this add in.

    Does anyone know the process?

    Hi,

Add-Ins are accessed as shown in the image below. I'm not familiar with the directory xla, but perhaps this link may help you.

Add or remove add-ins - Excel - Microsoft Office

Your suggestion did not solve the problem but gave me the direction to get it solved. The file I was using, "directry xla" was corrupted, had to get a good one, different file name, from the web which did work.
    Thanks for your help.
