Win7/Itunes Problems

I spent over an hour on the phone w/Apple and they say it has to be a Windows 7 issue as to why I am not able to uninstall itunes. I keep getting error messages. I call Microsoft and they want $99 for ONE time help or $149 for up to 5x of help!

Any suggestions??

I keep getting this error and I'm not IN safe mode. "The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance."

Hi,

You can try be unregistering the windows installer by Start->Run msiexec /unreg and re-registering it by Start->Run msiexec /regserver

1. Go to Start
2. Type in Services.msc in the Start Search Box
3. Scroll Down and find Windows Installer
4. Make sure it is turned on. If it is not, right click on Windows Installer and click Start

Try uninstalling it again.
Are you doing this on administrator or standard account?
