    Can't uninstall Shark007 codecs

Been using Shark007 codecs which have been working fine, but I've been using WMP12 for videos, and just discovered MPC-HC which looks pretty cool. I'd like to give CCCP a try because its worked well on old computers, but I am having troubles uninstalling Shark007. I go to add/remove programs, the 64-bit components uninstall just fine, then I select the default components, the windows installer box pops up for a couple of seconds, then disappears, nothing changes, "Win7Codecs" is still listed. I tried re-downloading it and installing but I get a message saying that its already installed. I don't understand why this program isn't uninstalling......I don't have any security software that would be stopping it (MSE), UAC is disabled, and from what I remember it installed correctly.

Anybody know how to fix this?

    Thanks for the help :)!

The codec package needs to be ran as administrator and uninstalled via the shark program itself.
