    Lock Shortcut on Taskbar (or Desktop)


    Hi, I frequently lock my computer when not in use, and was wondering if there is a way to pin a shortcut on the taskbar (or the desktop). I have made a desktp shortcut in XP by linking to some DLL file ("%windir%\System32\somefile.dll, LockWorkStation" or something to that effect). Does this still work with Win7? If so, what is the file (or another method; it really doesn't matter the route, only the destination).

Hi guys n girls, I have for ever got sick and tired of right click -> open Send to Menu and creating a Desktop Shortcut for a file or app....then needing to go to the Desktop right click the newly made shortcut and then removing the trailing file extension, dash and words shortcut in brackets....
When you choose lock the taskbar, it does stop you from resizing sections of it but it doesn't stop you from doing other things, like re-arranging icons in the quicklaunch folder. Is there any way I can lock the icon layout in quicklaunch? Sometimes I might accidentally drop something in there...
