    Pseudo Drive

Hi, I'd like to set up some pseudo drives - without using any tweaking applications - on my Windows 7 RC 7100.

    Thanks,

Can you be a little more specific? do you want to map directories to drive letters, or do you want virtual device drives?

The former, I want (for example) Z: to actually be C:\Users\Seith\Downloads

I did manage to do this using the subst command, but I don't know how to make it happen automatically every boot, is there a file which runs at each log in I can add the commands to?

    Thanks!

You should put the subst command in a .bat file and make a link for it to the startup folder in the startmenu.

Hey folks, I've been playing about with this a bit.. I find that even if I add an icon and autorun.inf into the Downloads folder, it doesn't actually apply those details to the pseudo drive. The pseudo drive just has a generic icon and copies the name of the drive it came from (C:) which isn't ideal as I plan to have a few pseudo drives... is there any other ways to do this, so it kind of emulates being a drive in respect of icon and name?
