Windows 7: LightScribe

LightScribe

It worked okay the last time that I used it, but when I just attempted to label a DVD, the drive selection box was blank, and selecting the refresh button didn't change anything, although all 3 of my OD drives are LightScribe. Outside of reinstalling LightScribe, is there anything else that I need to check?

Did you make sure that the Lightscribe Service is actually running? (Start/Run/services.msc) I know that I switched off mine to save ressources since I don't own any lightscribe disks.

Thanks, that was the problem, but it is very strange, because I never intentionally turned it off.

you're very welcome and I'm glad you got it sorted out.
All it takes is an accidentally wrong click in msconfig or autoruns or some sort of "optimizers"
It's just one of those things.
Thanks a lot
