    microsoft visual c++


    i have a least 8 copies of this on my win7 64bit,anyone know how many your supposed to have?seems a bit of overkill,thanks to all.

    I have 5 of them. The space they require is minimum.
    Wouldn't worry about having 8 of them.

    Different programs written with different versions of Visual C++ require different versions of the Visual C++ Runtimes and that is why you will have so many versions installed. If you delete any it will break the program that uses that versions and since I don't know how to find what programs use what versions, I just leave them alone until I do my next clean install.
