    uninstall vmware

i tried to uninstall vm-ware workstation from my pc many a times, but always an error occurred in the process.
Thus, i removed all the vm-ware files from C: drive. But still, I couldn't remove it from my computer completely and thus its occupied 1.5 GB space in C: Drive still exists whenever I check my add/remove options in cpanel.
Can anyone plz help me of how to remove this software completely from my pc??

    Query

    Have similar problem.

Mate's machine with some games that the kids have downloaded and I cannot get rid of three.
Have tried Programs and Features, and the CC uninstaller with no luck.

Two are by DK Multimedia and one doesn't have a publisher at all.

I just get "Setup.exe " has stopped working and Windows will notify me etc etc. on two one doesn't even give me that message.

Anyone got a suggestion for removal ?Revo perhaps?.

Use "Everything" to find all instances of those names etc:

    Everything Search Engine

    Delete all instances.

    Scan the registry for all instances of those names;

RegScanner: Alternative to RegEdit find/search/scan of Windows

    Delete all instances.

    After deletion, run "DisK Cleanup".

    Hiyya Mike

Ok mate will give thosea go because the Revo isn't handling them at all - same message.

    Cheers!

Well I don't know what happened Mike but I went stop the message and the one I was on went through witht the delete so I went back and Revo deleted them.

Sorry mate but my friend has really let this machine go to the pack and I suppose it hit some sort of glitch. Still I will run that Everything just to make sure - thnaks for your time and patiance!

    Regards
    John

    Thanks Mike

A bit OT but Mike you're a top bloke and no mistake and this forum is full of folks just like yourself thats why I like it so much more than some I am on, where my unsavvyness is unfortunately sometimes met with unpleasantness.
