What is the BEST uninstaller (free and/or paid)?

I've been wondering for a while what program to use when some stubborn programs just do NOT want to be uninstalled (i.e Antivirus programs...)

So, according to your own experience, which uninstaller would you use to get rid off a program?

Most AVs have their own uninstallers, you just have to look around for them or list the one you're after and I'm sure someone will help with that too.

For Antivirus programs I would always use the tools provided by the specific AntiVirus company.
They know best what they alter and what they bury where
Others than that I use REVO uninstaller
Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems
    or Your Uninstaller
Your Uninstaller - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com

Both which also have a paid pro version. just check the differences to their respective free versions and go from there.

Having used Revo free, followed by Revo PRO, and then Total Uninstaller I went back to Revo free which in my experience has always been 100% smooth and reliable.

One caveat, as said above I'd also only use the developers own removal tools for AV products.

+1 for BFK and Oaken for using developer's own removal tool.

Interesting. I will leave the post unsolved so that others can give their opinions.

    Re Anti Virus uninstallers.
I always recommend using a dedicated removal utility or instructions designed specifically for each program:
