I heard at wincustomize foruns, that this program is working, but...it doesn't show the previews. anyway, windowblinds doesn't work too, as well as some other softwares drom stardock. Objectdock is working, as far as i know

I use Icon Packager 4 and so far it seems to work with no problems. Disable VIrus Protection when installing.

I have just about all my icons to what I want them to be and the Icon Tab from IP4 in non shortcut files works fine for me.

I am running windows 7 64-bit and installed Icon Packager via Impulse. The first Time I ran Icon Packager, all non-system icoms became grey. The system cannot read the icons associated with any installed programs and some system programs (Snipping Tool, and IE are two that also appear grey). The only installed program that has an icon is Norton 360. Folders and data files work tho'. I can manually assign an icon to programs but that is unacceptable for me. The installation also placed msdia80.dll in the root of my D: (Data) Drive. I've restored and reinstalled twice and the results are the same each time. And yes I did disable AV during the install.
Sound Packager installed O.K. for me execpt that the import new package button does not work and I have to "run/open" soundpackages to install them into the program.

Danger, stay away if you don't want problems! I'm currently looking for a fix to these icon packs going on the fritz and remaining over default windows icons even after restore and complete uninstall of the program. They just remain there even when I default my icons back though properties settings. I still don't know what to do about it, apparently these packs are residing in the registry or memory cause the system is loving to display them even though they should be gone.

I am using Windowblinds and IconPackager from Stardock. No problems whatsoever on W7 64-bit. Very stable software in my experience. Been using these to tweak the appearance of my PC's for over 10 years.
