    Skype problems

So I recently installed Windows 7 7231, and now, I am able to install Skype, but it will never sign me in. Just wondering if this is an issue with the build, or a firewall issue? I'm trying to rule out a build issue before I go delving into my firewall settings.

    Thanks!

I don't know which version of Skype you are using, but this 1 always works for me. (Just go to my public Skydrive folder, and download the installer from there.)

Skype v4 works fine for me, the only thing is that the IE Addon is not compatible with IE8

    IE8 gives the following message.

Trying v4.1 Beta, will post soon...

Ok, Skype 4.1 works ok but the IE addon seems to have slowed my browser

Confirmed IE addon causes delayed browser activity, e.g. just clicking 'Edit' to edit this post takes an extra 2-3 seconds. I'd advise anyone using Skype 4.1 Beta to disable the browser addons.
