    Windows 7

Hey guys, I just built a computer for my aunt, but I live a few hours away and had to head back before i had a chance to get a OS on it. She got an instance of 7 on it, but it apparently needs a repair and she doesnt have the disk anymore. Do you know where i can find the ISO for windows 7? I want to avoid torrents and things like that if possible. any ideas?

Call the computer mfg (if the OS came preinstalled) or MS if you bought the OS. They will sell a replacment DVD for shipping cost $25.00

I don't know if there is any Windows 7 ISO files legally. I just read a post on here of someone trying to sell a developers copy of windows 7, but I think that was illegal too. Maybe have her get the disk and walk her through it over the phone. I will do a search and post back if I find anything.

    Hey lynchy,

Curious, is this something that can't be run by using the "Repair your computer" link found by pressing F8 at bootup? With Windows 7, much of the recovery info is installed onto the system so you no longer need the DVD, except in desperate cases.
