I am pleased they responded so quickly and made anew version.

Bit disappointed it is still doing things the old way.

I kind of expected they would update it.

    Oh well - you can't complain - it's free.

If you want a full on partitioner - you can't beat Paragon - you would need Pro version and it's not cheap - but it is the best. ( Paragon free partition manager version is very limited ).

There is a way to get the best of both worlds for free.

Use Paragon Backup and Recovery 11 ( B&R 11 free ) for creating partitions - you get proper alignment and nt6 disk and boot code ( only paragon does that ).

Replace settings.xml in B&R 11 program folder with this one settings.zip

However, because it is ostensibly a backup app. - it doesn't include extra functions such as convert logical to primary and partition undelete - so use Partition Wizard if you ever need those functions.

I don't know - I never bother with the linux based boot disc.

I just pop the app. into winpe3.

They only changed the layout its all reversed written drive details are at the bottom whilst the graphical disk usage at the top.
