You could try:

  1. Delete all folders and files created from the first, failed installation.
  2. Perform a System Restore to a date before you attempted the install

Then try again

Hi Baraca607 and welcome to the Forum. Have a look at the link below referring to Revo Uninstaller which is used by many members here at the Forum..
Hope this helps.

Go to Task Manager and shut down the programs. Remove them, which will be hard to do if only parts of them are there. Revo is a great program but it might not be able to find a partially installed program. Never download and install more than one thing at a time. Could you tell us what you are trying to download and install??

System Restore to before you tried the installation is going to be the best option.

The OP didn't try to install multiple things. It was just one that hung in the process and left garbage behind.

If you have not yet solved your problem, there is one more thing I would like you to try.
1. Type SERVICES in the search box and navigate to the services page.
2. Scroll down to the service called Windows Installer. The startup type should be MANUAL and the service should not be started. If this is so, then that is not the problem. Sorry. But, if the service is started do next steps.

3. Stop the Installer Service. Then set the startup type for it to DISABLED.
4. Reboot your system.
5. Go back into Services and set the startup type to MANUAL.

Then see if you can proceed as you planned.
Let us know
