    Disk Management Software

    Hey Everyone,

I presently use Visdir to view the disk usage statistics of both local and network resources. It is, however, a rather horrific resource hog. Does anyone know of a better and (preferably free) program I can use for this purpose?

You can try WinDirStat - Windows Directory Statistics
It is free and I am very satisfied with it's performance.
Local and network directories are supported.

It's neat, but not quite what I was wanting. Thanks though! I'll keep seeking others. :)

The pie chart was nice. My interest isn't in what type of files are filling the hard drives, but how much space each folder takes.

Long Story Short: I work for a School District, and we use it for quick & dirty management of my document folders. It's more about tracking the size of folders then knowing how much of what is in them.
