Adding Markers/Cue Points!!!

Apologies if this has been asked/answered before
Anyway I have a 90 minute audio (MP3 file) of a play that was on my local radio station, but alas it is one file, is there software out there that would keep it as one file but with several cue points so that I could skip to the next part of the drama, and also remember what a favourite piece was, I have plenty of MP3 splitter software, but they all break it up to various segments, which on playback would necessitate me stop/starting my mp3 player, I want it to play continuous but with markers

Have you tried Audacity? Though I've not used it for a while and cannot quite remember what it can or cannot do!

I used the 1.3.12 version without issue for what I was using it for. Latest is 1.3.13 which I've never tried.
