there is this known issue with fraps where if you install the shareware version (the one that expires after 30 days) you wont be able to LAUNCH the full version anymore.
there is a way to get rid of the protection but i dont know how so im gonna need some help with this, especially on seven. found a tutorial that requires the use of a program called regmon but thats not available for seven. i hope someone can help me with this.
What seem to be goign on with yours is that you may have had a registered version, then upgraded or replaced your fraps with the newer version. The newer version will check for old reg keys (usually put there by a crack) and delete them. If you own the program, you should have no problems going to fraps support an obtaining the registered version.
Without registering (aka buying) fraps will only captures 30 seconds at a time. If you are looking for a way around this (aka cracking it) this is not the right place and is illegal.

im pretty sure legal copies are affected by this just as well as pirated copies.
but after i opened the topic i launched fraps again and its working now. i just had to talk about it in public and it magicalyl cured itself.
