I had the same problem with my HP 6930p. Read this thread, uninstalled my wireless driver (Windows 7 had installed it perfectly) Installed the Cisco VPN client 5.0.0.4.0300 rebooted and no BSOD anymore. Windows installed my wireless driver after this reboot....everything works fine!! Thanks everybody for the tips!!

Ok, I give up. Just reinstalled 7000 while ago, and first thing after clean install I've applied Cisco VPN client 4.300 and works perfect. Thanks to you all for hints!

Win 7 Pro x64 x 3, Win 7 Pro x86, Ubuntu 9.04

This worked for me.

1. Install Cisco DNEupdate. DNE Support - Deterministic Networks
2. Reboot
3. Take ownership and delete ndis.sys (in c:\windows\system32\drivers).
4. Take ownership and delete ndis.sys.mui (in c:\windows\system32\drivers\en-us).
5. Install Cisco VPN Client 5.0.04.0300 or above.
6. Reboot
7. Windows 7 will repair itself (because we deleted those files). This will take a minute or so and it will automatically reboot.
8. All should work well!
