5. Install Cisco VPN Client 5.0.04.0300 or above.
6. Reboot
7. Windows 7 will repair itself (because we deleted those files). This will take a minute or so and it will automatically reboot.
8. All should work well!
Ahh you just beat me to it on posting this.

Virtual PC I use Virtual PC so I can access my computer at the same time as I'm in the VPN. I installed XP onto the Virtual PC and my VPN software without any issues. | My System Specs | | |

AnyConnect only works with certain Cisco devices, but if your companies devices allows AnyConnect to work with it, then Yes AnyConnect works with Windows 7 x64. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number fakeasdf (c) OS Win 7 Pro x64 x 3, Win 7 Pro x86, Ubuntu 9.04 CPU 2 x C2D E8600@3.33 Ghz, C2D T8300@2.4 ghz, P4 @ 3.0 ghz, Motherboard GIGABYTE GA-EP35-DS3P LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Dynamic Energy S Memory 2x8 GB Corsair, 4GB Kingston, 2GB GSkill Graphics Card ATI Radeon 4670 1 GB DDR3, 2600 Pro, 2400 Pro, Intel 965 Sound Card I don't care... You might want to check Shrew: Shrew Soft Inc : Download : VPN Client For Windows
I use it in Win 7 Ent. 64-bit. It even can read Cisco's settings. Works fast and is reliable. Oh yes, it's of course free. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Own OS Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit 7600 CPU AMD Phenom II X4 940 Processor 3.00 GHz Motherboard ASUS M4A78 PRO Memory 8.00 GB (7.75 GB usable) Graphics Card ATI Radeon HD 3200 Sound Card HD built-in Monitor(s) Displays BenQ E2200HD DVI Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 Keyboard Microsoft Wireless Laser Keyboard 7000 Mouse Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 Cooling Air Hard Drives Disk 0: WDC WD10EADS-65L5B1 ATA Device (1 TB) (D:\ 488 GB + F:\ 443 GB
